Swix offers a complete line of CH waxes for the entire spectrum of snow temperatures and conditions. the CH stands for Hydrocarbon. CH wax has no fluorocarbon material in their blends--these are 100% high performance hydrocarbon paraffins. CH waxes are assigned different colors based on their intended use in certain snow conditions. Their colors and temperature ranges coincide with the Swix HF and LF waxes although the darker shades of color on the CH waxes can be distinguished from the Swix LF wax. Note: for the most common snow temperatures CH6 Violet will do the trick unless you're dealing with spring skiing conditions.
