While the price is nice visual clarity is everything on this Venue Helmet from Smith. It's designed with a new AirEvac 2 venting system that helps optimize airflow around your goggles better than traditional ski and snowboard helmets. That makes plenty of sense when you consider that Smith is already a leader in goggle and sport eyewear designs. The Venue features a Smartshell On Mold construction that does away with the EPS liners found on most ski and snowboard helmet designs. It also has removable vent plugs that cleanly conform to the openings so you can keep things comfortably covered on cold winter days. You can also remove the Snapfit ear pads for glacier skiing and riding during the summer months. Like other Smith helmets designs the Venue is compatible with audio systems like the Skullcandy but it's also great for wire-free Plantronics Bluetooth audio systems.
