Rossignol Blast Skis w/ Axium Scratch 100 Bindings

Guys who split time between groomed runs and park monstrosities will have a Blast this season.

Roam where you want to on the mountain this season with these Rossignol Blast twin tip skis with integrated Axium Scratch 100 Bindings. It has a narrower waist design than the powder-oriented Scratch Bling but it also has a shorter sidecut that makes it ideal for taking tighter turns on hardpack and groomed runs. The Blast features a lively hybrid THC2 core made from poplar fume and ash for a lively light feel with plenty of durability to take abuse from jibbing and hard landings. While Rossignol typically uses 20-degree slant sidewalls on their all-mountain alpine skis the Blast has a distinct 30-degree incline that improves the swing weight minimizes unwanted bulk and adds to edging on park toys. To balance this weight loss Rossignol added layers of impact-absorbing Visco in the tips and tails to toughen up the contact areas while reducing potential over-flexing. Like all skis in the Scratch series the Blast has softer flexing tips with a stiffer midsection so you can load the extremities for more pop out of the pipe and also enjoy better balance than some skis give you while doing your ollie 'thang. Our version of the Blast comes with integrated Axium Scratch 100 bindings and while the binding DIN settings work well for most advanced skiers if you tend to feel like an aggro Clydesdale on planks consider the higher DIN settings on the larger and longer Rossignol Scratch Ghetto and Scratch Brigade skis.
