These are stripped-down superlight backcountry hard shells for big-mountain steeps. They're also soft and packable - and provide waterproof/breathable protection in unpredictable conditions. The jacket's torso is lined with supple brushed polyester grid mesh for light insulation and swift moisture-wicking; sleeves are lined with smooth mesh for snag-free layering. The contoured hood adjusts two ways to preserve neck mobility. With angled vents at the underarms a stretch powder skirt with gripper elastic and multiple pockets including an internal mesh pocket to hold a pair of folded skins. Imported.
