When your step is not like it used to be the Leki Wanderfreud SAS Single Pole enhances your balance and extends your exploring stride with a staff or cane option grip. An added Soft Antishock System (SAS) uses a spring/elastimer design in the shaft to reduce stress to the wrists. The Wanderfreud SAS Single Pole is made of rugged HTS 6.5 aluminum in three telescoping sections that adjust up to 135 centimeters long. Set to an optimum length this pole helps to distribute up to 25 percent of the effort to your upper body and minimize stress on your knees. At the tip a Carbide Flextip presents a durable break resistant design equal to Leki's top performance trekking poles. An interchangeable basket design allows for the easy addition of a basket given the terrain and conditions. The scratch resistant Ultra Sonic finish helps to keep the pole looking good after multiple uses.
