K2 Women's Burnin' Luv Skis w/ M1 11.0 TC Binding

Scorching groomed run performance with enough all-mountain versatility to rip off trail too.

If you like all mountain but need something that turns and burns GS and slalom style this fast K2 Women's Burnin' Luv Ski with integrated Marker M1 Piston 11.0 TC binding is an easy choice . Unlike other all mountain skis the K2 Burnin' Luv features a narrower waist with a high performance sidecut that gives it extra agility and power through turns in groomed and packed terrain making it a perfect platform for expert and advanced female skiers--especially if you spend a smidgen more time on the corduroy highways than the ungroomed byways. The Burnin' Luv has K2's proven torsion box construction the most widely used design on all K2 skis. Inside the Burnin' Luv is a triaxially braided glass configuration around the lively spruce and fir wood core giving the ski exceptional rebound and response. While K2's torsion box design has been around for a number of years it remains one of the best (and critically-acclaimed) ski construction techniques because of performance and versatility. If you're wondering about the mix of fir and spruce in the core that's the key element in K2's female-specific BioFlex design. K2 created a stable and forgiving profile by using spruce at the tip and tail and fir beneath the binding area. Using spruce at the ends helps with turn initiation and enhances the lightweight characteristics that are essential in keeping a female-specific ski more responsive than a heavier unisex ski design. Another refinement is K2's Mod Technology a secondary core that's independent of the spruce and fir core. Mod Technology dampens vibrations without messing with the ski's overall flex. This improves the ski-to-snow contact while reducing the bouncing chatter. The result is a smoother ride that carries through a range of terrain with predictable consistency. K2 paired their Burnin' Luv with an integrated Marker M1 11.0 TC (Total Contact) binding. The piston design borrows the best elements from Marker's best IBX systems allowing you to load and bend the ski deeper with a pronounced bowed radius through powerful turns. The Piston Control Interface helps manage the ski's rebound as you initiate your next turn. Like other seasons K2 still donates a portion of their proceeds from all K2 women's products to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation--as if you needed another reason to pick up a pair of Burnin' Luvs for you and a friend.
