Expansion of the Cranbrook Airport - The NEW Canadian Rockies International Airport Runway Expansion will be completed this winter. Significant changes to the airport are currently underway to accommodate larger aircraft and more passengers. The runway will be extended to 8,000 feet to accommodate larger planes, including transcontinental flights. The terminal building will be expanded to 2,035 square metres. Stay tuned for more updates!
