The Heuga Center
The Heuga Center for Multiple Sclerosis is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1984 to offer MS programs based on the philosophy of Heuga Center founder and former Olympic skier Jimmie Heuga: that a person can have a chronic disease and also maintain their health. The Center has expanded Jimmie's philosophy from a focus on physical fitness with MS to a focus on the whole person and family living with the impacts of MS.
U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA)
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding. They provide opportunities for athletes in the most exciting Olympic action sports.
The organization is driven by a vision to be best in the world with an emphasis on building character through strong personal values. The USSA's programs provide education, development and competition opportunities for young athletes, with from grassroots USSA club programs up through national teams and the Olympic Winter Games. The USSA provides athletic programs in six sports including alpine skiing, cross country, adaptive alpine and cross country, freestyle, ski jumping and nordic combined, and snowboarding.
