The town has a wide assortment of restaurants, shops, B&Bs and Inns providing visitors with an array of entertainment options. Ski Butternut features skiing and snowboarding on 22 trails with terrain parks open to both skiers and riders, plus an 8-kilometer cross country center that also offers rentals and lessons. Butternut is an excellent area to learn to ski or snowboard due to its gentle beginner terrain and outstanding ski school as well as its excellent snowmaking and grooming.
