The ski area is located 16 miles (26 km) from the historic city of Santa Fe with its tri-cultural traditions, Spanish architecture and sun-drenched landscape. The lives of Santa Feans still exist around a 400 year old plaza, with ancient pueblos surrounded by museums, performing arts centers, galleries, craft shops and distinctive dining places.
