Cranmore
These days, Cranmore mountain resort is on a mission to cater to the needs of young families. So if it's sex, drugs and rock & roll you seek, this is definitely not the place. Describing itself as New England's "snowplay resort," Cranmore offers the skiing and riding you'd expect, plus snowtubing, snowshoeing, ice skating and other services to keep children entertained.
Along with an atmosphere geared to families, Cranmore gets high marks for its new lift ticket prices, which are significantly lower than most of the competition and valid every day, without exceptions. Because the resort is located in North Conway, visitors have easy access to dozens of restaurants, lodging options and shopping outlets.
