Angel Fire Resort
Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains - the southern tip of the Rocky Mountains - Angel Fire resort offers a tremendous range of winter activities. Choices range from skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling, tubing and snowshoeing. The accent at Angel Fire is on family programs and events. The resort features a 6,000 square foot Children's Ski and Snowboard Center, offering a range of programs for kids. The resort also has a full-service nordic center complete with ski and snowshoe rentals, and at night there's a lighted tubing park to enjoy. Experts skiers and snowboarders are not forgotten -- hiking-accessed trails in the Back Basin offer some of the steepest skiing and riding around.
